We Choose The Moon….Celebrating 40th anniversary of Apollo 11!!

Now, 40 years after Apollo 11 landed Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the Moon, the work of these unsung heroes who designed and built the Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) is back in the spotlight.

We Choose The Moon is a site that tracks the activities of the Apollo 11 mission as it happened 40 years ago. Nice work. The transmissions from the spacecraft, CAPCOM, and the lunar lander are cleverly published to and pulled in from Twitter.

www.wechoosethemoon.org is just an awesome chance for us to explore what happened 40 years back…. And not only this, but we youngsters will also get to know more about the history in such an interesting and better way!

I was just reading an students edition newspaper yesterday, and Got to know about this site there only, I was amazed and quite exited to see what this actually is? The headline said that we can experience the history, once again, n its so easy, just in front of our Pc and logging to this site! As I reached home I logged to wechoosethemoon.org !! the site was takin time to load (my sever spoils it!) ….i closed it, logged back to it today…and I am rite now waiting for this countdown to end…. I want to see what this actually is!
